30 Days of Giving

30 Days of Giving

About This Campaign

The Lindsay House is teaming up with Foodlink this holiday season to provide critical support for children in our region. Staff, patients, and community members are encouraged to join the 30 Days of Giving to raise funds and needed food items for Foodlink's BackPack and Child Nutrition Programs.

Tens of thousands of children in our 10-county service area receive free or reduced-price lunch at school. But when school is closed during weekends and holidays, many of those children go hungry. Foodlink’s BackPack Program provides children in need with bags of nutritious food they can discreetly take home and easily prepare on their own.

Drop off your donated food items listed in the 30 Days of Giving Calendar at the Lindsay House or make a monetary donation directly on this page. Thank you for making a difference during this season of giving.

Campaign to Support Foodlink, Inc.

Foodlink is the Feeding America food bank serving Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming, and Yates counties. For more than 40 years, we have leveraged the power of food to end hunger and build healthier communities. Through good stewardship, innovation and collaboration, Foodlink mobilizes a diverse network of community partners to eradicate both the symptoms and root causes of hunger. Foodlink’s community health programs provide new access points to nutritious and affordable food in under served communities. We empower individuals and families to make healthy choices through nutrition education initiatives. Our food banking operations distribute millions of pounds of food to a network of nonprofit members. The Foodlink Community Kitchen nourishes thousands of children daily with healthy meals, slices locally grown apples, and prepares people for culinary careers through a one-of-a-kind career empowerment program.
