Foodlink is working hard to meet the needs of those impacted by COVID-19, as well as individuals who typically need our assistance. School closures, changes in work schedules and social isolation are layering extra burdens on our neighbors, and disproportionately impacting lower-income communities throughout our 10-county service area.
Your gift today is vital to our response – providing healthy food for children, hardworking families, struggling seniors and other vulnerable populations. Community support will ensure thousands of our neighbors experiencing food insecurity have access to nutritious food in this time of uncertainty and great need.
Your gift to Foodlink’s COVID-19 Response will support the following efforts:
- · Preparing 5,000 healthy, fresh meals daily for school-age children in Rochester
- · Distributing emergency food supply boxes to seniors, ill and/or quarantined individuals, low-income households throughout our 10-county region
- · Working to meet the increased demand for our ongoing hunger-relief programs
Thank you for your generous support and partnership.
