As families gather around the table this holiday season, it becomes clear that food doesn’t just nourish our bodies — it nourishes our relationships and creates memories with loved ones. 

But creating happy memories is hard when your family is faced with tough times. Imagine gathering around a table with barely enough food for a Thanksgiving meal. For some families in our region, this is a reality. 

 The number of people experiencing food insecurity in Foodlink’s 10-county service area — nearly 120,000 — remains astonishingly high. Families are doing everything they can to access healthy, affordable food, and are still coming up short. The need is great, but you have risen to the challenge in the past. Foodlink is a Rochester-based nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities by addressing both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity. We serve as the hub of the emergency food system across a 10-county service area.
