Meet Jimmy, a Foodlink driver for the past five years. Jimmy says that the job can be challenging -- particularly in the winter months, but  "that’s never stopped me from looking forward to coming to work. I have a great team and we support each other, making sure we get the work done. It’s important for us to help our co-workers the same way we help folks out in the community."

When Jimmy travels to our community partners -- hundreds of food pantries across a 10-county region -- he can see that volunteers and clients both rely on Foodlink immensely.

"Your generosity means that drivers like me can deliver fresh fruits, vegetables and all the basics needed to prepare a meal. Your generosity also allows Foodlink to offer other programs — like our culinary apprenticeship, which trains people for jobs in the restaurant and hospitality industry."

Would you consider making a gift to Foodlink this holiday season?

In Support of Foodlink

Foodlink is a Rochester-based nonprofit dedicated to ending hunger and building healthier communities by addressing both the symptoms and root causes of food insecurity. We serve as the hub of the emergency food system across a 10-county service area. As a leading public health organization, Foodlink administers many programs and initiatives that aim to build the health and wealth of communities.

We provide food assistance through the safe storage and distribution of emergency food to our network of food bank members and community partners. We build healthier communities through innovative programs that create new access points to nutritious foods and empower people to make healthy choices. We drive change through bold career empowerment initiatives and advocacy for a more just, equitable food system.
